The Northern Illinois Tejano Cultural Society was formed to promote and preserve the language, culture, traditions, and family values of a group of Americans with a strong work ethic who has seemingly been out of North America.
It is the intent of this organization to leave a legacy of positive contributions of descendants of Southwest Mexicans void of negative stereotypes to our future leaders, our youth.
Furthermore, we see it as our responsibility to help our youth, regardless of race, color or region, to stay motivated and continue their education by helping them with scholarships and other monetary contributions.
Helping families and individuals in time of need is also our obligation, in which we take proudly.
